Mayan Herman

Part 1 of the Series: How to Overcome Barriers to Connect and Communicate

Mayan Herman, LCSW-S, is a clinical assistant professor and teaches bachelor of social work students, serves as a practicum liaison for BSW and MSW students, and also teaches masters level courses. Previously, Herman worked as a therapist at Moonstone Counseling Center, and a bilingual medical social worker at Community Care. Herman also has worked in addiction at dual diagnosis treatment centers. Herman is passionate about addiction education, child welfare, immigration, and bilingual social work. Herman completed her BSW practicum at CPS in Pittsburgh, PA and her master’s of social work at University of Michigan.
