Our Approach
Established with a focused intent to address this pressing societal challenge, CARES primarily targets young adults and families who have encountered the harsh realities of addiction. We recognize the complex and often devastating effects that addiction can have on families, and thus, we aim to create a robust network of support. Our approach is centered on providing innovative educational programs and therapeutic interventions designed to diminish relapse rates and break the generational cycle of addiction that can ensnare families for years.

Collaboration in Creation
Our program is meticulously developed in collaboration with The Steve Hicks School of Social Work at the University of Texas at Austin, tapping into the expertise of academic professionals and community service leaders. One of the cornerstones of our initiative is our volunteer-led programs, which harness the collective strength and compassion of community members. These programs encourage active participation and foster a spirit of empowerment, enabling individuals affected by addiction to learn, share, and grow together.
