What is CARES?
Similar to Al-Anon or Nar-Anon family groups, CARES is a support group for parents of individuals dealing with drug use issues. Additionally, we provide resources to help parents navigate their child’s experiences with substance use disorder (SUD).
Is CARES a 12-step program?
CARES is a peer support group designed to support family members of those dealing with addiction. Instead of structuring our meetings around the 12 steps, our programs feature a main speaker who offers insight into coping strategies and the role of parent support in the recovery process.
