Dr. Conway is an Associate Professor at The University of Texas at Austin School of Social Work and the Associate Director of Research at the Addiction Research Institute. Her research centers on substance use behaviors and the systems that can strengthen recovery, with a focus on peer support, recovery housing, and digital health innovations. In addition, she collaborates with biomedical scientists to investigate how human biology and behavioral health intersect, particularly examining the connections between psychological distress, neurocardiac self-regulation, and substance use.
