He serves on the advisory board of the University of Texas McCombs Wealth Management Center, contributing his expertise to the next generation of financial professionals. Beyond his career in wealth management, Russ has a personal understanding of the challenges families face on the journey to addiction recovery. Drawing from his own experiences, he co-founded the Texas CARES Program alongside Waylan Johnson, dedicated to supporting families through recovery with compassion and providing community, education, and support.
