Below, you will find a comprehensive list of Buda support groups for loved ones of those affected by addiction.

Join CARES on Mondays in Austin

CARES holds weekly events, where you can listen to expert speakers, build community, and access real tools for navigating recovery. We invite you to join CARES on Mondays in Austin, Texas, about 15 to 16 miles away from Buda.

Speaker Schedule

The Cornerstone CARES speaker series is an initiative we launched in collaboration with the Texas CARES program and the Steve Hicks School of Social Work at the University of Texas at Austin. Our speakers are professionals and people who have overcome the situations that family members and caregivers affected by addiction find themselves in.

We are always adding new events. Here, you can see our speaker schedule or click on the resources discussed by our speakers.

Invitation to Change

The CARES program incorporates the Integration to Change Model, or ITC. It is not a psychotherapy group or general support group. Instead, ITC combines elements of evidence-based treatments, such as Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Community Reinforcement and Family Training, to empower loved ones of those affected by addiction to encourage positive change.
